Thanks to the knowledge we have from over 100 years of dedication, we are able to consistently deliver the highest quality. 

The founder of Hayakawa Textiles, the owner of the Kusakura brand, started trading in Osaka near the site of a distinguished samurai's castle. 

Later, numerous cherry trees (sakura) were planted around the castle, commemorating the samurai family's noble services.

Kusakura was named in association with the historic samurai family and the celebrated cherry blossoms. In 1991, the brand logo of Romanized notation was adopted, the acronym "S" of the national sakura flower. 

The suits are now worn by practitioners from all countries on the IJF world tour. Judo players highly value their light feel, strong material and precise fit.
